The Story of
Kondapalli Toys
Two centuries of artistry, tradition, and colour — born in a small village in Andhra Pradesh, cherished across the world.
Two Centuries of Craft
Kondapalli toys originate from Kondapalli village, nestled in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, approximately 20 km from Vijayawada. This centuries-old craft has been the livelihood of the Aryakshatriya artisan community for generations.
Recognised with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag by the Government of India, Kondapalli toys are acknowledged as an authentic treasure of Indian craftsmanship — a heritage product that belongs uniquely to this region.
"A single toy can pass through the hands of 10–12 craftspeople — each a specialist in their step."
